Mai Văn Phấn

The famous poet Mai Văn Phấn of Vietnam, became a member of World nation writers’ Union and was appointed chief representative of World nation writers’ Union in Vietnam.

Mai Văn Phấn was born 1955 in Ninh Bình, Red River Delta in North Vietnam. He joined the army infantry in 1974. Mai Văn Phấn left the army in 1981 and entered Hanoi College of Foreign Languages, Department of Linguistics and Russian culture. Continued learning in 1983 at Gorki Pedagogics School, Minsk, (Capital of the Byelorussian SSR). Winner of numerous awards for poetry in Viet Nam: “Poetry contest” of Weekly Người Hà Nội in 1994.

Pavol Janik

Pavol Janik, PhD., is a poet, dramatist, prose writer, translator, publicist and copywriter, a member of World nation writers’ Union and was appointed chief representative in Slovak Republic. He (magister artis et philosophiae doctor) was born in 1956 in Bratislava, where he also studied film and television dramaturgy and scriptwriting at the Drama Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (VSMU). He has worked at the Ministry of Culture (1983 – 87), in the media and in advertising.

President of the Slovak Writers’ Society (2003 – 07), Secretary-General of the SWS (1998 – 2003, 2007 – 13), Editor-in-chief of the literary weekly of the SWS Literarny tyzdennik (2010 – 13). Honorary Member of the Union of Czech Writers (2000 – ), Member of the Editorial Board of the weekly of the UCW Obrys-Kmen (2004 – 14), Member of the Editorial Board of the weekly of the UCW Literatura – Umeni – Kultura (2014 – ).

Aminur Rahman

AMINUR RAHMAN, poet, writer, critic, translator, member of World nation writers’ Union (Kazakhstan, Almaty). He was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1966 and graduated with an M-PHARM[acy] degree. At present he is considered to be one the most well known poet in abroad from Bangladesh.

He has published six collections of poems in Bangla. His work has been translated in more than twenty five languages and has poetry books in English (4), Spanish (3), German, Japanese, Mongolian, Arabic, Chinese and Russian.

Dr. Khédija Gadhoum

Famous Doctor Khédija Gadhoum (bio.), poet, teacher, member World nation writers' Union (Kazakhstan, Almaty). She was born in Tunisia, North Africa, and being a US citizen, Dr. Khédija Gadhoum graduated from The Ohio State University, with a specialization in contemporary Latin American Literature and Culture.

She is currently in the Department of Romance Languages at the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia), teaching Latin American Film, Hispanic Literature and Cultures, among other courses. Dr. Gadhoum has always been promoting International Education: for several years, she directed Spanish Study Abroad Programs in Guadalajara, Mexico. At UGA, she also taught at UGA-Costa Rica Program in Monteverde, Costa Rica.

Dimitris P. Kraniotis

DIMITRIS P. KRANIOTIS, member of the World nation writers’ Union (biography of the poet was published on the website: Dimitris P. Kraniotis is an award-winning Greek poet. He was born in 1966 in Stomio (Larissa), a coastal town in central Greece. He studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki.

He lives and works as a physician (Internal Medicine specialist) in Larissa, Greece. He was invited and he has participated in several International Poetry Festivals around the World.
